Luella S/S 2010

My fav Collection so far. I'm so in love with that wonderful pannier effect and the strong 1950's influence she's got going on. What makes Luella so damn hot is her sense of fun and wicked colour combinations that works every time (she makes beige look cool for fxxx's sake) The classic polka dot is clearly a favourite at the Luella camp, along with heart shapes, and big hair bows that simply look super gorgeous and completes every outfit. To me, this collection is cute without being sickly sweet, quirky yet wearable and classical with a big fun twist. Luella = Genius

Vivienne Westwood Red Label S/S 2010

Looks like it's gonna be print heaven next Summer. Viv's collection included lots of florals, stripes, argyle (loving the argyle top above with matching shoes) and polka dots. Mixing patterns still a biggy for next season, nerdy specs were on parade - oh how I like a good pair of big nerdy specs. Sun hats, striped blazers, cardigans flung on shoulders and prom dresses gave the collection a real old skool English heritage vibe. I'm pleased to see Viv's punk roots are also present with signature pieces like the pirate trousers, which still look amazing season after season. A true legend and always will be.

PPQ S/S 2010

Wow, how cool is PPQ's S/S collection. Check these 50's style dresses, some mixed with tribal prints, others super bold colours. The orange dress looks like something Audrey Hepburn could have worn at the Oscars way back when and orange was the season's hot colour. Monochrome looks like a winner for S/S 2010 too, YAY!!! How we like a bit of monochrome, a total classic, easy to wear and looks so damn fine too. Jumpsuits are still hot, baggy (how they should be worn) and v cute. Finally socks and sandals = SWEET! We likey.
The duo have also a done collab with Adidas, and the result looks pretty wicked too.
Oh wishlist, wishlist, wishlist!!!!

25th London Fashion Week

New style icon? News to me says Erin

London Fashion Week is 25 years old this year. A dude named Harold - Chairman of British style council opened LFW for S/S 2010, including the mayor of London, Boris Johnson. Boris is apparently now a style icon since Elle put him on the cover- BORIS JOHNSON? NO WAY! Yep that was my initial reaction too. Out of all the men! Did they forget the likes of of Ezra Koening , Julian Casablancas, Orlando Weeks, Morrissey, Nick Zinner, Faris Rotter, Bruce Wylie - Ok, I'm getting a wee bit carried away here but you get what I'm saying. Anyway, you can catch the latest news on http://www.londonfashionweek.co.uk/. Very exciting, can't wait to see what Vivienne Westwood, PPQ and Luella's got up their sleeves for S/S. Fabuleux!
