Thank funk its Friday! Its been a mental week and it feel good that Friday is finally here. I chose Dusty this week because I love love love her voice and this track is super uplifting. Happy Friday x

Anyone watch the Brits on Wednesday? This lady gave one of the best performances of the night. Super outfit, awesome vocals and an amazing stage presence which, I felt most of the other acts lacked - apart from Jay- Z and the the lovely Alicia Keys. I love this song too, especially the chorus - pure pop heaven! Happy Friday x

First, I have chosen this piece by Philip Glass as a tribute to Lee Alexander Mcqueen. In an interview - interviewed by his Mum Joyce McQueen, he said that Glass was one of his favourite artists. This piece of music is truly beautiful. Peace x

Goodbye Alexander the great

I was in a middle of doing a photo shoot yesterday when I heard the sad sad news of the death of Alexander McQueen. I have always admired his innovative designs, and in awe of his catwalk shows. One of the reasons I was also drawn to him was because he was considered the "hooligan of English fashion" and "enfant terrible" by the french press.

In 1998 his show included car robots spraying paint over a model wearing a white dress and an amputee walking down the catwalk with wooden legs.

I had never seen anything like it and from that moment on I considered him the most exciting designer ever, who was'nt afraid of doing things his way and never conventional.

He was hugely inspirational and simply a genius. RIP Mr Lee "Alexander" McQueen.
