Bruce and the golden tickets

The Yeah Yeah Yeah's gig tics went on sale last Feb at 9am.  Despite being on the case, tics sold out within minutes and at 12 minutes past 9, not only was I ticketless, I was distraught and fought hard not to shed a tear - its been two years since I last saw Karen and co ...... weep sniff weep

At lunch time, everything changed.  My super lovely boyfriend Bruce had managed to buy two tickets on ebay. I screamed with excitement, felt like the luckiest girl alive with the best boyfriend in the world.

After all the excitement the day finally came. The gig took place at Sheperd's Bush, we managed to get right to the front, moshed like there was no tomorrow, the YYY's played an amazing set, and it was the best night ever. Karen, Nick, Brian, you are the coolest, I salute you.

Two major things happened last weekend

1 - My first wedding dress fitting - A relaxed trip to Tunbridge Welles with my Ma - Quaint shops, wedding veils, bridal shoes, Marks n Sparks, cups of tea.  Lovely!!!

2 - My Hen Do. 12 women up for it in Camden - champagne, forfeits for Hen, bad singing, dancing till 5, toast- tea - BED.  Wicked!!! Oh and Gruff Rhys from Super Fury Animals made an appearance too - what a gent.

Love you better

Can't stop listening to The Maccabees "Love you Better" what a tune!!! Me and my bro went to see them last month at the The Concord.  The place went mental as soon as they came on and the songs they played from their new album are v v good indeed. Can't wait for the album "Wall of Arms" Roll on 4th May

Bellestar, you're a star

Everybody's loving the Bellestar collection.  I first met Bella Clarke - a Brighton based illustrator and designer and the brains behind Bellestar, at an Arts exhibtion back in December 08.  I feel in love with Bella's designs as soon as I saw them at the exhibition and really wanted to show case her work at Mama San.  Now, a few  months later, Bella's collection of totes, tees and sweats are being admired and adored by illustration loving peeps.  Bella is super talented, and it is about time her work got recognised by everyone from all over the world.  Goooooo Bella!!!
